Former Bengals cheerleader and teacher Sarah Jones posts photos of her alleged victim-turned-boyfriend

Former Cincinnati Bengals cheerleading co-captain and former high school teacher Sarah Jones is flaunting her relationship with her former student and alleged sex victim-turned-boyfriend Cody York.

She posted plenty of photos of the two of them on her new Facebook page a little over two months after she confessed to having a sexual relationship with York while she was his English teacher.

The timing is interesting, especially since Jones posted the photos shortly before her court case against TheDirty.com. She’s suing the website for $11 million for defamation and invasion of privacy. That case ended in a mistrial in January.

Jones set up her Facebook page on Dec. 30. It includes a profile photo of Jones wearing her Cincinnati Ben-Gals cheerleading outfit, as well several photos of Jones and York kissing and looking very much like a couple.

Jones’ Facebook page says that she’s in a relationship with York. York’s Facebook page says that he’s in a relationship with Jones and also includes photos of the couple.

Last October, the 27-year-old Jones confessed in court to having sex with York when he was 17 and her student at Dixie Heights High School in Northern Kentucky. She originally denied the allegations. The October court hearing was the first time the world saw her holding hands with the teenager and football player.

“I began a romantic relationship while he was a student and I was in a position of authority,” Jones said in court.

York, now 18, never cooperated in the criminal investigation. He’s now a student at Northern Kentucky University.

Jones pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct and custodial interference. She avoided jail time and doesn’t have to register as a sex offender. She’s on probation for five years. Early in February, she violated the terms of her probation and will have to wear an electronic monitor.

Jones isn’t allowed to teach again and the court sealed the steamy text messages that she sent to York when he was her student.

“Steamy? They were steamy. I’ve teased Sarah about them because I had to read them,” Jones’ attorney Eric Deters said.

Jones, who is barred from working as a teacher, now works for Deters’ law firm. And it looks like her relationship with her boyfriend, who is nine years younger, is going strong.

She’s hot and beautiful, but I wonder when the sun sets for these two? Most likely he will run off for a younger chick soon. Who knows, they could be happy ever after and tie the knot some day. I wish them the very best, they deserve to be happy.

    Wow!
I agree with many of you that if it was a male teacher and a 17 year old female student, the male teacher would have not be off the hook that easy.
    Why the double standard?

17 is not a child. If he wasn’t sleeping with her he probably would have been sleeping with your daughter (if she went to Northern Kentucky High). Have some common sense, the only issue is the fact she was his teacher. Hell, at 17 he could have enlisted in the military and been in Iraq or Afghanistan killing other people but he can’t get laid by someone not in high school or younger. Give me a fucking break.

She should be in prison just like any guy. A guy in the same position would have gotten at least 10 years in prison and had to register as a sex offender for life!!! It’s not right that she got off easy! I hope thedirty sues her back. No way should that lying POS child molester get a dime!

First of all: What is the legal age of consent in Kentucky?. He was 17 when they started having a relationship????. She was in a position of authority during this time which is certainly an ethical conduct violation of a TEACHER. If he was of legal consent, then she would not have been tried for sex crimes against a minor. She would, however, be held to misconduct and ethical violations as a teacher. I agree that there does seem like a double standard when it comes to male teachers relationships with female students. But once again, it boils down to age of consent. If a male teacher had a consensual sexual relationships with a “minor”, but who was of legal age for consent, and indeed consented to the relationshipthen he should not be tried as a sex offender. It appears that this was the case for Ms. Jones

If this had been a male teacher with a female student, there is no way he would have gotten the easy sentence she did, even if it was completely and undenialably consensual. – “She avoided jail time and doesn’t have to register as a sex offender. She’s on probation for five years.” – A female student could pursue and ultimately convince a male teacher with evidence to support that assertion, and he would never be treated so lightly. It could be a female and male in a non-authority position and the man would not receive such light treatment. There is a definite and repeated double standard in these situations that should be addressed. He was a child by law and she was an adult.

if you think that way erica…your just as bad as she is, this was clearly wrong by a person in a position of authority over the “student”, she should have not been let off so easily

Wow, this lady is a pedophile. Why is she allowed to walk the streets. Just because she was a cheerleader on a football team. This person lied under oath, and was given a plea deal. If this was a man he would surely be locked under the jail. But because she is a blond female who probably turned tricks or favors, is allowed to walk the streets free to continue to have sex with children. Does this story not offend anyone other then me? And then she flaunts the relationship on her facebook. Really? And then she gets a job with her attorneys office, who stated that he joked with her about the steamy text messages that she sent to the student. Sick B*stard he probably gave her a job for sexual favors. This is how justice works for a select few in America. I am really tired of the doubled standards.

Hello Erica, I don’t care if it’s old news or new news. It was wrong for an adult to have sex with a minor. That’s the bottom line. “Let her move on with her life”. Are you serious? She needs to pay for what she did. Would you have been okay if an adult teacher had sex with you when you were 17 years old? That’s sick.
